The Connacht Hotel is a large and well-organized option, especially convenient for those touring Ireland, with ample free parking. The hotel features a pool that's popular with families, along with spacious bar and restaurant areas, offering entertainment each night. Many guests find the beds comfortable and appreciate blackout curtains for a good night's sleep, plus some rooms include a balcony. While the walk to Eyre Square is considered a bit long by some, the location still offers good access, but a few guests have noted that some rooms are out of date.

The staff was friendly and helpful . My son left his iPad in our room. I called after we departed. They contacted me to confirm they had located it and included a pleasant note. It stated they hoped we enjoyed our stay, which I found considerate.
Breakfast was just acceptable. The scrambled eggs looked like they came from a packet.

The staff was notably friendly. They helped with all requests. Our family loved the spaciousness of the Family Room. I especially liked that the bathroom was very clean.
Our room was located near an area where music played loudly at night. I found it challenging to sleep before the music stopped. The breakfast eggs seemed like they came from a packet. It wasn't very appetizing. The gym had only a few pieces of equipment.
